boring entry by a bored boring person

when i have to go to work,my life is sooo boring!

my job really isn't all that boring as jobs go...but nevertheless when i'm at work i feel my life is very boring.

and most of the people i encounter in everyday life bore me. which is why i like to stay home and amuse myself,and read and swap notes with people on lj
whom i DON'T find boring.

i enjoyed being on vacation last week and had some good days,so i suppose now i'm crashing. just not enough mental stimulation in my workweek!

oh,woe is me. i find boredom so demoralizing. but i also get overwhelmed really easily. i feel like screaming to the committee that comprises my personality 'can't we all just get along?'

why isn't it okay for me to be bored,or sad,or whatever sometimes?
it just bugs the hell out of me. i want some sugar.

I don't find your posts boring. I think you have to give yourself permission to be sad or bored--it's one of those "licensing" things.

it sounds like you've got some existential dread. you have to find meaning in your work or you will be miserable. I am sure what you do makes some people very happy. Its really only when we feel our life has a purpose that we can be okay with it.

yes,that and existential despair i have a lot. i keep looking for meaning,sometimes find it briefly,and then,my meaning somehow becomes,well,meaningless. don't know why that happens. but for now i'll keep trying to find something.
