weather rant
you know,i'm not supposed to be having cabin fever in june, while on vacation. when is this freakin' high humidity going to go away?!!! i HATE high humidity. after going through a typical pain-in-the-ass new england winter while holding on by thinking of my beloved springtime, springtime never showed up. instead,it was cold, rainy and HUMID. i was chilly for two months because i refused to use my furnace in april and may. then, all of a sudden,it's 90's and humid! and so now i'm not going to open my windows and let in THAT sucky air. i've opened my windows ONCE since last fall, and i LIVE for open-window weather. now, later this week,it's going to cool off to the lovely 70's EXCEPT every day there is a forecast for scattered showers, which means it's going to be HUMID. which means i'll probably be using the ac just to get rid of the humidity. did i mention i LOATHE humidity?
oh,where oh where are those days of high white clouds, blue skies and a life-giving BREEZE?!!!!
just shoot me.
okay,i feel slightly better. which is good, because this afternoon i'm going to the dentist.
does anyone live in hawaii on the breezy side of the islands who has a house they want someone to live in?

So, hey, what do you want to do on Friday? Is this the week of your vacation or is it next?
The beach was good. Well, mostly good. We got a cheap hotel room on the North End where it wasn't so crowded or noisy. Saturday was HOT but Sunday was actually cold (at the coast... not here!). The water was warm late Saturday, which was surprising. It was lovely.
