questions

[from may 2,2001]

how come sometimes dylan can sing so beautiful (lay lady lay, knockin' on heaven's door)?

how come lloyd cole was born in glasgow but doesn't have an accent,at least when he's singing?

how come we only had three days of spring?

can we create our own reality? i have a hunch we can...but i also think the buddhists say why bother if you're happy with whatever life brings you?

is it easier to accept life as it is or to try to change it?

is it easier to change yourself or to change the world?

which is the wisest thing to do?

i stumbled across an interesting website called realityshifters.com. they had a list of recommended books and there are a couple that i might look for...-the elegant universe- by brian swimme, and -the self-aware universe-,whose author i've forgotten.

it's strange that they didn't list any of jane roberts' 'seth' books.i always thought they were the first that mentioned 'reality creation'.
weird old world,yes?

i'm tangled up in red and a purty tealish blue, due to my monitor being my tv,which i prefer to purple and green, which is what most of you see!

addendum march 24,2003

why can't i get my text to be some other color than black unless i use html? (yes,it's still bugging me.)

Why is it that some Scot singers sound so Scottish, and others sound like they are from Canada? It's one of the puzzles of the ages.

I'd add "hard rain" and "mr tambourine man" to that list of beautiful Dylan voices. and I have no idea why he can't be consistent about it. I love Dylan, I think he was a genius, but I hardly ever want to hear HIM sing his songs, aside from the two I list here because they're my favorites. for example, my fave version of "tambourine man" is by Judy Collins, off her Fifth Album. it's gorgeous when she sings it.
