linkin park
i bought myself linkin park's "meteora" last week because i liked 'in the end' when i heard it on the radio and i've heard 'somewhere i belong' lately and just like their sound...the interesting combination. (i generally dislike rapping,though i liked some of the early early stuff okay...including bob dylan's 'subterranean homesick blues'! but i digress...
anyway,i like it. good songs,and good sounds overall,and i found it especially good to listen to when i was feeling really crappy. it helped. i can't listen to too many songs at once,though,because chester's screaming gets to me! hey,i'm a little old lady,y'know. and kinda sensitive. ha. he does have a good voice though.
my favorite song so far is 'easier to run'. of course,because it's one of the wimpier,prettier ones. just like i like metallica's 'hero of the day' and 'mama said'. they're good songs and i'm not really into 'ugly' even though sometimes i think 'ugly' is the new beautiful,in some weird way. if you know what the heck i'm talking about. i barely do.
and so i've procrastinated enough and now will go force myself to brush and floss for the fifteen minutes it takes for that chore,and i'm already running late for work because i had trouble sleeping last night until late this morning so i stayed in bed until almost noontime...so...off i go!!!
