last train to glasgow
how did it get to be 3:30? how did it get to be saturday? when did it get so cloudy out? (it might be wise to go for a walk soon rather than later when it might rain.)
you'd think that since i've been on vacation this week,i'd catch up on reading journals. ha ha. what happens is i read something in someone's journal,i read other comments they get, find the comments intriguing, and end up with more people on my friends list. i'm a slut, but i have a heart of gold. (where's neil?)
you know how 'they' say that what you'd be most happy doing for a living, what your 'mission' in life is supposed to be,is the thing that makes you lose all track of time? well, for me it's reading and writing,i.e. communicating with others on the internet. how can i earn money doing that? hmmmm...i've thought i'd be a great correspondence secretary to some famous person, but i don't want to move to hollywood. although glasgow would be nice...i wonder if billy boyd needs a secretary? not that i'd even notice glasgow if billy was nearby...ha ha.
unfortunately,i'm sure i'd have LOTS of competition for the job, as it would be the consolation prize for the gal who doesn't get to MARRY billy.
okay, where was i before i got carried away? oh,how do i make a living doing what i love? hmmmmm....
anyway,i'm going to go for that walk.
ta ta for now!

alba
my friend
what about glasgow appeals to you? for me,it's the accent. the glasgow accent is my favorite amongst the favorite accents of the scots. other than that,i would like to visit the hebrides, the highlands, and maybe even the shetland and orkney isles. heck,i'd go anywhere in scotland!

Really it is just that I used to look at people's friends lists and wonder how they could possibly keep up with all those folks. I used to keep my list at a tidy 6 or 7. Now I have a huge list, though half of them almost never post.
