how many disney vacations can i win?

i almost never answer my phone. i'm grateful to whomever invented the answering machine. i get messages from satellite tv companies,someone telling me i've won a disney vacation,and someone trying to help me with my credit card debt,which i thankfully as of this writing,do not have.
i also get lots of hangups.

so i was happy today to read about a new law concerning telemarketers

Since I put myself on the PA do not call list about six months ago, I've had absolutely no telemarketing calls at all, as opposed to four or five a day just after I moved to the country.

I rarely answer my phone, either. My mother-in-law has eats with us a couple of times a week (while my wife is working) and I have noticed the pained expression on her face as the kids and I continue eating and talking while the phone rings during dinner. She has been conditioned to jump up and answer the phone no matter what she's doing and our attitude toward that kind of intrusion irks her, I think.
