i listened to my beatles 'past masters vol. 2' cd today. 'the inner light''s lyrics sound pretty much like one of the chapters of the tao te ching. the lyrics are here. pretty cool.
i've come to the conclusion that i don't like arugula. too tangy tasting. i like my greens a little more subtle.
ah,it's such a glorious day. another,i should say. yesterday was great too. i don't know the exact temp, but probably high seventies and a gorgeous breeze. i'm totally in love with the wind during spring and even more in the summer. another day of beautiful fresh air.
do you hear me?
that when it rains and shines
it's just a state of mind
can you hear me?
can you hear me?

my original rubber soul is different than the cd version. the cd's went with the british versions. i have sentimental attachments to the lps i first heard though.
'hey jude' had should have known better, old brown shoe, hey jude, rain, lady madonna, don't let me down, paperback writer and ballad of john and yoko. i may be forgetting something.
'rain' has cool psychedelic guitars. they remind me of a band called 'rain parade'...probably named for that song...whose guitar sound was a lot like that. very trippy. i listened to them in the good ole eighties.
