in searching for the meaning and origin of the phrase "getting along like a house on fire",i found this and became totally entranced. i haven't found out about the house on fire yet though.

and even though it's saturday,i'm listening to the lovely and lively "it's friday i'm in love" by the cure.
it makes for happy feet.
