imagination is more important than knowledge-einstein

in the past few months,i've learned a bit about panentheism, the idea that everything is IN god. this differs from pantheism, the idea that everything IS god.

those who believe in panentheism seem to have good logical reasons for believing it to be so. i think that religion and science are not at odds (uncle al is one of my heroes) so i can respect their use of logic.

but convincing the brain and just KNOWING are two different things. the problem is trying to describe the indescribable with limiting words that can cause distortion of perception. so when i started reading up on huna,i just got back into my normal pantheist way of seeing things.

people think of pantheists as being tree-huggers,and i'm definitely that. but what do you call people who treat their cars well? my cars have always been my friends...the millenium falcon, finley 1,finley 2,and now seablue. this makes sense in the context of huna.

which reminds me,i need to have a little chat with my toaster oven. it still toasts, but refuses to heat up food in an ovenlike fashion. perhaps it felt neglected because i kept buying frozen dinners that said 'do not use in toaster oven' so i wasn't using it as much. hmmm....

When asked if he believed in God, Carl Gustav Jung replied, "I know God." I too know God. Uncle Carl and uncle Al are two of my favorites.
