(no subject)

yesterday for some reason i was looking at a ten dollar bill or whatever denomination that alexander hamilton's likeness is on,and i thought to myself that he was quite a good-looking man.

uh,i think i need to get out more.

edit:the bill i was looking at was one of the new tens. he doesn't look like anything special on the old bills, but on the new ones,he's lookin' real chiseled.

That's bizarre. I've always thought that too, and everyone has called me crazy ::shrugs::

Huh. I just pulled out a ten-spot and have to admit that he may be the most attractive of all the founding fathers, save Jefferson. Not that I have a thing for redheads. Or men for that matter.

Hmmm...so why did Ben "Ugly!" Franklin get all the women?

ICED cream! I screamed

Mmmm...Ben and Jerry's...while living in Florida many years ago I worked for Haagen-dazs. (Good way to get through college.) Anyhoo--several of us on the staff fancied ourselves the H-D Propaganda and Counter Intelligence Service (HDP-CIS). We used to run agit-prop against good ole Ben and Jerry. Hee hee. It helped that they came to visit the city for something...I think we started a rumor about them--forget what it was.

Ain't no Haagen/Ain't no Dazs
Ain't no frugen in the Frugen-Glas/
Ain't no guy named Steve at Steve's/
But there's two real guys at Ben and Jerry's...

:-)

I recall hearing that he had so much charisma he could charm birds out of the trees to come and rest on his hand.

indeed! I wish they'd put his face on the 20 instead of Andrew "I'm butt-ugly" Jackson.

...and this has got to be one of the weirder girl-talk sessions I've ever had.

I can't for the life of me remember what Hamilton looks like. I've handled plenty of ten dollar bills, but never even bothered to examine one. Funny what you can see when you take the time to look further.
I wish I had a ten here to look at so I could comment on whether I think he's good looking or not, but alas I don't.

P.S.
As long as you didn't kiss his image on the bill, I think you're ok.
