eeeyuuu...ick. if i'm going to be 'alternative',i'd go for red. red doesn't always have very positive associations in so-called western civilization,but that's not true in all cultures. and it's my favorite color. but i dont' think i'm going to spend lots of money on a dress anyway,because i want to elope. now i just need to find a guy.

planning my first wedding, i wanted blue and silver as my colors but my mother (who had a tight hold on purse strings) insisted you couldn't have blue in april, so we had pink. My dress was white, though I had no reason to wear it LOL.

so....if i ever do a fool thing like have another wedding, i'm going to dress in bright blue sapphire in april and my attendants will wear silver lame :D

My best good friend wanted to get married in a red dress, I hated the idea... for some reason here in the States red wedding dress=whore, but in eastern Asian cultures it equals, beautiful tradition. lol
I've always dreamed of a white wedding dress, but now that I’ve seen some of the newest wedding dresses that shy away from the 'o so traditional and almost outdated white I’m not so sure anymore. I wouldn't mind a black and white wedding dress, or a silver dress.
