oy. i'm feeling lazy.
i need to drop off my car at the mechanic's shop this evening and walk home. it's only about a mile, and a walk i enjoy in good weather, but right now i just feel like taking a nap! maybe i'll take a nap,eat supper, and then go.
seablue is getting noisy. noises that have been identified and judged as 'normal' are okay, but this sounds like i might have a hole in the muffler or some part of the exhaust system, and i would think it would only get worse,so hopefully if it needs to be fixed,it will cost less if i do it now. at least that's my reasoning.
i had planned to get the car vacuumed out before the next oil change. oh,well.i'll bet my mechanic doesn't really care how dirty my car is. i hate cleaning. i also need to clean the bathroom floor today so i can crawl under my toilet to see if i've got brass or steel bolts. there was a note in the lobby of the condo i live in that we should check and if we don't have brass we should put them in IMMEDIATELY. sheesh. yeah,i'm really ambitious to go to the hardware store and try to figure it out. or spend another day home waiting for a plumber and paying god knows how much.i looked and supposedly green stains mean brass and orange stains mean rust.sensible. i don't seem to have any colors that i can see. i'm hoping i'll find some green so i won't have to deal with this. little things like that really get to me,and i'm already stressed because of my car and not knowing how much that will cost. it would be nice to earn enough money so that i always have a little extra for things i need, but most of my basic needs are supplemented by my dwindling savings from week to week as it is. i still haven't figured out how i'm going to pay rent, utilities, gas, food, and anything else like clothes and repairs and a new pair of glasses and shoes once the savings runs out. i don't have enough energy to work a second job in addition to my full-time one that includes 10 hours weekly of commute time.
the above is why i don't write about my personal life very often.i whine too much.
well,i guess it's football season. every sunday i hear the downstairs neighbors shouting at intervals.
