upcoming name change
probably sometime during the coming week,i'm going to be officially changing my lj name to _redsparkle_. everything i have on this journal will be transferred by the lj staff,including my name on your friends lists. i just thought i'd give you a heads up so you don't wonder who the heck _redsparkle_ is.
i've been thinking about doing this for a long time,and i like a more vague name because i have so many different interests that using a name that incorporates my favorite color doesn't feel as limiting. yes,i know i'm weird.
i originally picked moonriver because i was listening to morrissey sing it on i forget which cd of his,plus i always liked that song. but i'm not really much of a moonriver myself! in fact,both moon and river imply emotionally watery natures,and while i'm very emotional,in my humble opinion,i think i'm even more about the element of air. i'm a triple gemini...sun,moon,and mercury,which packs a particular punch since hermes/mercury is the ruling planet of gemini. it's all about communication and messages,which are a real focal point in my life. i also love how my lovely friends the trees reach up to the sky and my friends the birds fly in it and i particularly adore having a free wind blowing through my hair or on my face...i think you get the picture.
yes,i do like the song moon river and the movie breakfast at tiffany's,but i'm not exactly focused on them!
if you have me on your friends list and want to keep me,i'll still be there but just under this new name.you don't have to do anything. it will be done 'behind the scenes' by the lj wizards.
and did i ever mention i'm a bit of an 'overexplainer'?
