the good news and the bad news
well the good news is that i now have possession.
of a month's supply of 5ml twice-a-day adderal.
i plan to start taking it on sunday, when i wont' be driving very far, since i don't know how it will affect me.
the bad news is that my insurance company won't pay for it. how lovely. it's the generic stuff and cost me $72. i called the insurance company and they said it's not on their 'list' of medications they pay for. i asked who i would speak to about this (i think that's ridiculous) and they said i could appeal it. which i probably will, for all the good it will do me. i'm pissed off. now if this stuff does help,i may have to look for a similar alternative that they will pay for. and i don't know if i'll have to go through all sorts of hoops again with my doctor.
and as it is,i am not making ends meet with my full-time job. i've been chewing away at my savings...and may end up not being able to buy a car next time i need one because that's what i've saved for. never mind the costs of moving, and one never knows when one may have to do that.
if i just wanted to take zoloft or something like that,no problem. they practically give it away like candy. methinks the company that makes it (lilly) has a lot of influence in a lot of places. i'm not comfortable with antidepressants though. besides the point that i don't think they are what i particularly need,i also think that they are too new and there is no telling what the long range effects are. plus,i've heard more horror stories about them than about the stimulant drugs.
life is sooo easy for me.
