the abdominal snowman

it's cold, but not as cold as yesterday.i worked my butt off today, which was good,it felt good, and i had plenty of work to do! i missed doing a lot of schmoozing though, but since most of us were busy, there wouldn't be many people to chitchat with today anyway!

a few of us did have a laughfest at suppertime together.i had chosen a christmas story from john lennon's -in his own write-.i was going to read it out loud, but reading aloud is not my favorite thing to do,so i asked if anyone would like to read it to us all and sean enthusiasticly volunteered.

well, anyway, i want you all to know that i did my darndest to make the world exciting for magazine browsers.i put out the new martha stewart weddings magazine,i restocked the playboys (oops,i forgot to restock the penthouses, how sad),dan was thrilled to read the new issue of "toy fare" and wondered why there wasn't a new "charlie in the box" figurine to go with the other misfit toys.

(nobody wants to play with a charleeee in the box!) actually,i have a charlie,a yukon, a cowboy riding an ostrich, and a abominable snowman from last year myself, the plush kind they sold at osco drug stores.i've always loved that christmas story, because i could always relate to hermie, the elf who wanted to be a dentist (except i'm a human who wants to be a pixie!),and the other misfit toys.doesn't hermie have cool hair? he was waaay ahead of his time!
