christmas present
I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

well,i was looking around on the net for something amusing to put in my diary, and that's what i chose.well, some hunting trips are more inspiring than others.that isn't very, and i meant to be rather more optimistic...
ah,well...
this has been the most boring christmas i have ever had,but also it's been less stressful than some,so for that i will be grateful.
i just got a truly bizarre email from my friend sean.well, actually it wasn't all that bizarre, but he's been reading faulkner's 'sound and fury" and said it contains a lot of stream of conciousness stuff and that clearly affected the email.very interesting.
he also wrote a little christmas play, and his ghost of christmas future refers to his
'old job",that is the place where he and i currently work together at.ouch, makes me feel old! but at least no one was singing
"thank you very much, that's the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me" while dancing on my future grave!
wow, this is turning into the nightmare on christmas and all i wanted to do was entertain! so go ahead folks, throw tomatoes!
everyone has their "off" days,eh?
perhaps st.stephen's day tomorrow will be more interesting, but i rather hope not.i need to have my car looked at,and i would rather not have that turn into anything remotely interesting, thank you very much.i would prefer the remark,'oh that's nothing'!
i started to read philip pullman's 'the subtle knife' which is the sequel to 'the golden compass' which i haven't read but i dont' care becuase i got this book for free.
i like how he describes things, and it reminds me that i often like how children's writers describe things and wonder why there is a difference in adult fiction? is this just similar,or are the descriptions better? do adult novelists spend too much time trying to be clever and therefore don't keep to the basics? i have no answers.all i know is that i like how he writes so far.i'm only on page 14 and i rarely finish books.i get bored easily.today i am bored, bored, bored, but please take that more as a description than a complaint,as i have much to be thankful for on this christmas day.please send good vibes to all those having a tough day today for whatever reason, and i send out hugs to those who need it.please be kind to yourselves too.we are each a unique part of the universe, and apologies to those who don't like mr.rogers for sounding like him! i myself am a long time fan.if i could only keep my apartment as neat as he kept his tv one...but then he didn't have to work 40 hours a week and i'll bet he had a maid and someone else did the laundry...hee hee.
