i'm such a nervous nellie.

what is it now?

i just went downstairs to take some trash out and the hallway and especially the entryway smells strongly of gasoline. like at a gas station. should i call the fire department now so they can arrive early?

really,i'm nervous.

It could be something as simple as someone bringing in a leaky chainsaw or something (not that someone bringing in a chainsaw isn't scary), but why take a risk? Go ahead and call someone, tell them what you smell and let them make the call.

i talked to a neighbor who seems rather sensible,and he noticed it too,but didn't seem too concerned. plus,i think the smell has dissipated. so i guess i won't worry. thanks for your note. happy thanksgiving to you too!

i would be nervous smelling gas too. are you sure it was gas? could it have been propane? well? didja call? what happened?!
