a blizzard and orlando bloom's hair*
maybe it's boring to talk about the weather, but i'm going to anyway.
i'm all hunkered-down,waiting for the blizzard.we got 2 or 3 inches of snow last night.i just called into work. right now it looks like i'm just a wimp, because at the moment we're only getting some pretty light snow.i watched the local weather forecast and the radar showed a band right around where i live that will be lighter snow until the rest of the snow starts moving north from massachusetts. it's probably going to be near-zero visibility, and i didn't want to be driving home in that. but the scariest thing to me is the other drivers. i just went and did my grocery shopping at the natural food store, which is a five minute drive up the road. the roads were slippery and many folks were driving recklessly...driving too fast for the weather conditions, and weaving in and out of slower, wiser traffic. just that little trip was scary.
i stopped at the predictably busy video store. there was one copy of 'bruce almighty',and i got it. i've heard negative reviews of it but i want to see it and judge for myself. i also wanted to watch 'pirates of the carribean'...but apparently, who doesn't because it looked liked all 100 or so copies were out. i hung around a little bit in case one might be returned, but no dice. i guess i'll have to wait 'til later to drool over orlando bloom and possibly johnny depp. orlando is on the cover of a teen magazine called 'twist' and it is a very lovely picture. i really like it when his hair is falling over his forehead, which may be partly why i don't find him so attractive as legolas. there's an article about how orlando exemplifies 'the perfect boyfriend'. there was a gaggle of gals in the backroom when i opened the box that these magazines were in,and all agreed that it was a damned fine photo. the vote was kinda split between favoring blonde or dark-haired orlando. i'm in the dark-haired camp. as my sister
solarfields says, his hair has a life of its own. indeed.
so,i ended up getting 'mallrats' as my second choice with my 'rent one,get one free rental' coupon. i haven't seen that before and i love jason lee.
well,i guess this is it for now,as my ' key is getting tired.
