1. Basquiat. I don't know if you've seen it; it's about Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol (to a smaller extent) in the '80's.
2. Generation X by Douglas Coupland. My father went to high school with the guy, and it's the only book I can wholeheartedly recommend.
3. Parklife (the entire album) by Blur. They're the Kinks of the '90's/'00's!
