breathe

Have you noticed since everyone has a camcorder these days no one talks about seeing UFOs like they use to?

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

(don't know if those were written or just collected by her,but the following is definitely her writing):

Move because it feels good, not because you feel like you have to. Move in ways that feel good to you, even if its just swaying from side to side or kicking your heels up in the air. Do things that make you want to move, like...buy a trampoline like you had when you were a kid and jump up and down for awhile. Dance like an idiot in front of a mirror lip-synching to bad music. Pretend that you know kung fu. Anything to get yourself up and moving.

Me...I made a playlist of songs that always make me want to dance and now I play it every day and dance for 20-30 minutes, just doing various silly dances, jumping jacks, running in place and aerobic exercises I've learned over the years. The key is to keep moving continuously. Keep your heart beating fast. If you have to start small, fine. If you have to stop frequently, fine.
Just do a push-up or a few jumping jacks if that's all you can do. But do it.

It feels great.

Except that the UFO thing is just plain wrong.

Yes in fact. There are hundreds of UFO videos in existence. While I would avoid passing judgement of the validity of any one or another of these, they are certainly out there. I have seen dozens of them personally, and know of many others including a few that are not in circulation. (That is, they are privately owned and not 'published.') There are many many more videos of UFOs than there are 8mm and other amateur films of them.

However, I was responding to the more general comment you cited about a reduction in reports since the availability of video. That is certainly not true. There are as many reports as ever. The real difference seems to be changes in the media and national/regional distribution of these reports/stories. I have used a newsclipping service and when local and regional papers and magazines are taken into account, the reports are as common as ever. But Dan Rather won't be talking about them anytime soon. :-)

As for the issues of validity and reality of these things, those are entirely unrelated questions to the video/photo issues. :-)

BTW--I hope that I didn't sound too preachy about e-prime in that other reply. Sometimes I get on my high-horse about that. I apologize if I did!

Actually I thought that it sounded preachy becuase I re-read it, not because you hadn't replied. :-) I just sound preachy sometimes!
