today's gripe

well, just watched the weather forecast and it's supposed to be humid tomorrow. ha ha ha ha ha..

the reason i laugh bitterly is that at work today it was incredibly humid indoors. almost everyone was complaining that they were cold (all that dampness sure can feel cold) whereas i was just dripping with sweat, and feeling sticky and gross all day. and to add to the fun,for some strange reason, when it's too hot or humid,my skin gets painfully horribly itchy. fun!

boy,am i ever looking forward to tomorrow. honestly,i am seriously thinking of trying to find another job because working in that sticky air makes me feel really crappy and it feels really awful when i itch and break into a rash. i run and stand in front of a fan, which is really frustrating, because sometimes the only fan that someone else is not in the way of is in the room that has the least efficient air-conditioning,plus it's frustrating because i've got work to do which i WANT to do,but none of it involves sitting down, which is fine with me. but you can't get cooled off by a fan while you're moving around.

i don't remember the a/c ever being this bad when it's allegedly 'working'. it usually feels like this when it's broken...which means there's some hope of improvement. since nothing is 'wrong',there seems no hope for improvement. i wonder if i should call OSHA to come over and test the air quality? well, that would be a bitchy thing to do,plus the company is so cheap, they'd probably cut our pay to pay for the improvements rather than having the bigwigs do without their 'extra' houses. *coughsputtergrowl*

ok,that's it . i'm going to go read now.
