If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise.

holy cow, where did my (sun/mon) weekend go? it's almost over, dammit. i love being my own boss on the weekends.
i have not cleaned up any clutter that i created last week. double drat. well,at least i got cards out to my twin nieces. i actually made them. didn't feel like going to the plaza to get cards,so i stopped into the cool toy store in town,as they usually have a few cards. i didn't like any of them, though, but i still ended up spending almost an hour looking around. i love that store. and i ended up buying a few stickers and some metallic crayons (which ended up not working for my purposes) to make them cards myself. my first attempt was bad, which was frustrating. the magic marker smeared and the glue stick didn't make my picture stick to the card. but at least the second attempt went better,as i just used a bunch of stickers on some blank greeting cards i got at the dollar store last week.
and i paid a few bills.and i sent a birthday card to my elderly (41) sister michele. so at least i did get something done.
i also went to the library of course, and checked out more than i intended, but not so bad this time. i got out robert fritz's path of least resistance, which i've tried to read several times, but reading a bit in it this time,i think i might just 'get it' now. wow. i also borrowed carolyn myss's sacred contracts,so i can figure out what to do with my life. also got callings by gregg levov for the same porpoise. i mean, purpose. oh,slap happy i am. there is no try. also checked out an interesting looking novel called transmission by hari kunzru.
now i'm going to watch the local news so i can get the latest weather forecast.
ttfn!

See--this is why I really don't care about how the election turns out.
