fix

got my antibiotics.
got my probiotics*
got my vicodin. (wheeeee!)

but seriously, folks,i'm home warding off a sinus infection and probably wouldn't have gone to the doctor today if i wasn't for foreseeing the spectre of having a weekend of pain and misery which tylenol-the only nonprescription painkiller my stomach can,well,stomach-would do nothing to alleviate.

yesterday i had a pretty bad headache at work, and just to belabor the point for those who haven't heard me say it a million times already--because tylenol doesn't seem to help much and i can't take anything else for pain short of narcotics, which disables me from things like driving to work, because of my delicate stomach--i just have to suffer through it sometimes. when i do have a headache,it's usually gone by morning. when i wake up with a headache (and i rarely drink alcohol because i hate hangovers,so it's not that),i know it's a bad sign. i've woken up with headaches a few times this week. it's congestion from allergies or something. well, most of the week it went away after i got up and was upright for awhile. but not yesterday or today.

i don't take vicodin during the day, because even though i'm extremely grateful for the stuff when i'm in pain bad enough to keep me from sleeping,i don't take taking drugs lightly.the head and face pain is bearable if i can distract myself by reading, watching a dvd or fooling around on the internet, which i can't do at work. anyway,i don't want to be out of work tomorrow,so i hope i get a good night's sleep and the antibiotics start to do their stuff.

and next week i have to adjust to a new, earlier, work schedule. going into work for 11:30 instead of 1:30 and adjusting to a two hour difference in my sleep schedule isn't easy for me,and when my sleep gets messed up i sometimes get...headaches. so after this weeks worth of headaches i'm not looking forward to that. and then on saturday they want me to work until midnight, which is four hours later than the rest of the week, and will be later than my new current bedtime to accomodate the earlier work hours. lucky me. can librarians be self-employed? because i might like to be a librarian, and i'd loooove being self-employed.

wow! i've complained again! isn't that amazing! i'm so lovable.

Who's the person in the icon?

My sympathies for your delicate tum and your headaches. Feel better, and just say 'no', man. ;)

Yay for headaches! I've been enjoying them for most of the last few weeks. Really, truly fun times!

Sarcastic? Me?! Nah, that would never happen.

Seriously, I hope you feel ever so much better soon.

Heh. Thanks. Drugs would be nice about now. (Air conditioning would be nicer, but I've probably got a better chance of getting drugs.)

Heh. I am home warding off a sinus infection AND bronchitis.

(Antibiotics and codeine in hand!)

I hope we both feel better soon! ;-)
