every day a new day
fellow americans,
it's deja vu all over again. but not really.
four years ago i was practically in tears as i went into the voting booth to vote against someone, but i didn't really want to vote for the person i thought could defeat him either, but i did anyway. this year,i voted from the attitude of what i wanted. i feel really good that i did so.
things are starting to look like four years ago,but it isn't. it really isn't. there was a record voter turnout. people care. and there is more than one way to create a world we want to live in.
envision a beautiful world and happy people and don't overlook all that is already that way.
pray for EVERYBODY. it will make you feel better. and when you feel better, you will have clarity and thus you will be inspired and will find ways to create the world you want. there is nothing that can stop love and appreciation for what good there is and what there will be.
be brave and true! be optimistic!
it's the american way!
love and hugs and balloons for all!
p.s.my assumption that all the folks on my friends list share my political leanings,at least broadly, may be wrong. but i think most of what i'm saying could apply to all of us in this country.

thanks!
i feel very strongly that being miserable and upset will not help things, though everyone can feel any way they want to. and this is a reminder to myself as much as an offering/suggestion to anyone else.
i felt disappointed, angry and annoyed this morning. i chose not to stay there. and i'm grateful that i am able to do that.
thanks for the good vibes!

i really think if we entertain the possibility,we may be surprised at some good things happening in the future. i was considering how nice it would be if dubya had a saul/paul conversion experience (though i don't know how a fundamentalist christian gets CONVERTED!)...but then again,i am not overly fond of st. paul. jesus,i like...paul,not so much. heh. but i'm sure the loving universe can do some sort of aikido...so who knows what is possible? perhaps i've become insane to be optimistic, but that's okay by me!
love and hugs,
di
p.s.i enjoyed your recent postings and sent my sister over to read a couple of your entries...the map thingie and 10 reasons not to go to canada. winter! haha. but you know, there's always vancouver...except it could end up getting a little crowded...
hey,the red sox won the world series! so i think lots of good things are possible.
