i found out about syndic8.com from my research buzz feed through lj.

i know very little about rss feeds other than what i can get through lj because i'm currently an msntv user. but this sure looks interesting.

wait until i get a computer...i'm gonna go nuts,but in a good way!

You know, Foxfire here is RSS enabled, but I have no idea what that actually means!!! So don't feel too out of the loop! And if you ever get a compy, go Mac! They crash or get viruses very rarely compared to PCs. I've had both so I know!

If you do go to a computer there are a variety of RSS readers available. (If you don't go Mac.) Some are free and also quite good! :-)

You should be able to use RSS on msntv, there's web-based RSS readers out there, I've been using Feedster.com(which is how I came across your site), they're pretty decent although their email alerts haven't been working for the past week...there's scripts where you can easily put feeds on your own webpage or whatever as well. RSS is a great way to promote your site, through places like feedster, technorati.com etc., not sure how livejournal works - might have to ping manually when you update, through places like ping.blo.gs and weblogs.com I don't have their ping link handy, somewhere on newhome.weblogs.com maybe

I've only been blogging a couple months so still figuring it all out too, haven't gotten around to checking out syndic8 yet, should sign up and claim your blog/journal feed on technorati.com if nowhere else.
