guess i'll...
nobody loves me.
i'd eat some worms,but it's cold and i don't want to walk to the grocery store because i've been without a car for four days. so i've been home for four days. which isn't totally a bad thing,but i'm beginning to get cabin fever.
and a little gremlin in my head is saying 'your sister didn't invite you for thanksgiving because she's really annoyed that you never go,and doesn't realize that it's nice to be asked anyway,because you don't go because you work in retail and travelling on thanksgiving is not what you want to be doing.' i wonder if she'll invite me for christmas? seems to me she didn't invite me for the last family gathering,either,though i can't remember what it was...
oh,no,i won't listen to that voice. because that same sister sent me a card around the time of mom's birthday,because mom just went to heaven last march,so she was thinking of us thinking of mom especially on that day. so that was thoughtful.

solarfields,will answer her phone if i call? i wonder if she's home?

EDIT: my devious plot worked. my sister sara aka solarfields,called when she saw this post and we had a nice hour-long chat on the phone. but i'm not totally evil. i called her back so she wouldn't have to pay for the call. after all,it was my idea. oh,and i found out my other sister was planning to ask me over for thanksgiving,so,yes,it is all good indeed.

we're so programmed to feel that certain actions on holidays and birthdays are required and if they don't occur, then no one loves us... but people all have different languages of love and what they do the other 300 days of the year consistently is what really keeps us going...
(and yayyy! everyone always looks at me like i'm crazy when i say that!! someone else who remembers the "i'm gonna eat some worms" song!!! ;) )
