today i have my paid labor day holiday,since monday is my regular day off. it's nice to have a paid day off. i had planned to go to the place to get free clothes (connected to the local catholic church...i give them a donation occasionally too,but it helps with the budget a lot since clothes can be pretty expensive) which is only open certain hours and i usually can't get there. but i called the dr's office to get advice on which med to refill today,since my insurance won't pay for both and i don't know which to take and/or which will be needed for my stomach right now.i need to stay home to wait for a call back,so i probably won't be able to get to the free clothes place today.

i made a quick trip to the video store. i got a new movie called pandemonium which is about henry wadsworth longfellow and another poet and it looks interesting. i like a couple of the actors too...john hannah (scottish! always a plus) and another guy,can't remember at the moment.duh. i also got pay it forward because you know to feed that positive focus...i looked at pollyanna too in the disney section but i thought that would be overkill for today. it was rent 2 get one free day. cool. i got 'hurricane' with denzel washington. i read about it when i was looking for movies with leiv schreiber. (love that name leiv...reminds me of one of my favorite names,which would have been a son's if i'd ever wanted to have one...levi.) anyway,i liked leiv schrieber in jakob the liar which i watched because of robin williams and matthieu kassovitz. i watch a lot of movies because of who's in them,though i also like movies that look like they'll be inspiring.
i also like one of the lines from 'hurricane'...

i don't know if rubin hurricane carter ever really said that,but it's beautiful.
