just ignore me,and enjoy george!

a couple from george carlin (in italics, not that you couldn't tell...)

Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

too true. last night the roads were really slippery and i couldnt stop straight at the lights,so i was driving really slow and leaving lots of room to slip and slide. so i was the idiot and everyone else was a maniac, pretty much. a hummer was right on my tail. sure, they're not gonna slide, but what if i do,and they can't avoid me? ah,whatever,i survived. usually i'm a maniac, since i drive the same road every day.
frankly,on most days,i need to tone it down a little.

this is the third post this year (and it's only the twentieth of january),where i have complained about driving on bad roads. why am i not living in hawaii? ha.

what if there were no rhetorical questions?

this pulled the trigger for carlin on me. i saw it at futurehi.net, which i recommend.

i believe driving is easier in the usa than here in portugal, as your roads seem better and broader (in the movies), whereas ours are narrow and shitty (yours are slippery, ours are bumpy).

maniac drivers don't make much for safe roads anywhere (though it's acceptable on highways).

Great humorous insights. I think the first from George is a general psychological truth.

why am i not living in hawaii?

Because you live elsewhere?

what if there were no rhetorical questions?

I would have already stopped replying. :P
