stargate
i just finished watching the movie 'stargate',which a friend at work loaned to me when i mentioned that i had started watching stargate sg-1,having purchased season three a few weeks ago,and diving in. (at the time,i wanted something to watch,and the store didn't have season one,so season three looked good.)
i was afraid i'd hate james spader,because he always seems to play snooty,obnoxious sleazebags,but i absolutely was impressed and loved him in this role. a scientist nerd type...clueless and brilliant and inadvertently hilarious.
anyhow,i really liked the movie and i loved the ending! wow!
in other news,i can now post with my different icons again,which is exciting to me. what happens was when lj did an upgrade back in sept. or so,the interface with my msntv browser made it so i couldn't do that on my update page. and earlier today i wanted to do a backdated entry and i couldn't do that either,so i finally wrote to support. they suggested i try the portal page,which is different from my linked update page. one thing i don't like about this portal update page is that it's a really tiny box. i just found it annoying that an UPGRADE made things worse for me...i mean,i've been a paid user for a few years now,so i'm being slightly indignant that their improvements make things less for me. ah,well,i am just happy to have a way to do those two things again.
granted,most of my other icons are a bunch from 'band of brothers',which most of you don't care about,but i enjoy them!
