(no subject)

i'm just so happily bookish and content right now. i'm enjoying cryptonomicon and i got a great big fat new biography of e.e. cummings at the library today. going to the library is one of my favoritest things to do. i'm literally enchanted when i go there, and often under that spell i leave with a whole pile of books even though i had no intentions of borrowing anything (because i always have tons of things to read--lucky me!)

i also borrowed 'seven years in tibet' and i think i just want to watch it for the aesthetic beauty that i know it must contain.

last week i also bought a book called magnetizing your heart's desire which is a really cheesy title and has a really dorky new-agey cover, but it's all about law of attraction and it's an understatement to say i'm interested in that.

and now, back to sailing on the sea of words...

I have that book. It was the second book on the law of attraction I ever read. It was a good read. She uses "Yummy" too much if I remember correctly.
Did yours come with the magnet?

Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting was the first book I read on the subject.
yeah....those magnets are a huge waste. I was expecting them to show off some energy flow stuff. Oh well....
The bokmark was handy, though. LOL

I thought the book was pretty good for me at the time. I look back on it now and I think its a little too soft for what I need.

What's your fav book on the subject so far? (have we had this convo before?)

I have heard of the holographic universe and its on my amazon wishlist (as is ask and it is given.)
My favorite book on the subject so far has to be The Master Key System. Its not a fluffy, everyone is happy type thing. Think and Grow Rich, while not a strict law of attraction book, is up there too. www.boundlessliving.com has some really good books on the law of attraction. And www.imagesofone.com is a nice resource.

Hmmm....the more and more I learn about the universal law of attraction the less I know about it. And I like that. It has taken me down lots of little trails. It made me realize that it is ok to question "logic" and "universal truths" I am very big into increasing my conciousness now. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle is UNREAL. And I hae The Autobiography of a Yogi is on my Audible wishlist.

How does the law of attraction fit in with your religious beliefs?(if any)

I haven't been to a library in months! I really do miss it, but I don't have a library card out here where I am until April. Just being in a library is heavenly, full of such imagination and craft. :)
