interest lists
# Scan my interest list and pick out the one that seems the most odd to you.
# I'll explain it.
# Then you post this in your journal so other people can ask you about your interests.

krishna smurf
anyway,it's a color thing. have you ever seen a picture of krishna? he's the same light blue color as the smurfs. for some reason 'krishna smurf' popped into my head one day and the picture in my mind made me laugh. i think i like krishna just because he IS such a pretty color!

huna
while i'm talking about it,i may as well share his 7 principles, because it's those principles, more than any shamanic techniques (i'm not much into shamanism or rituals myself) that i really love about his book and philosophy. they jive well with the ideas of the abraham teachings, which have added immensely to my life.
1. the world is what you think it is.
2. there are no limits
3. energy flows where attention goes
4. now is the moment of power
5. aloha-to love is to be happy with (love increases as judgment decreases)
6. all power comes from within
(ooh,i'm sure some fundies wouldn't like that one,but their saviour said the same thing 'the kingdom of heaven is within'.)
7. effectiveness is the measure of truth (or as i say 'the proof is in the pudding' and jesus said 'by their fruits shall you know them'.)
thanks for asking!

ludic revolution/play ethic
it's a great question because it required me to go do some research. i probably swiped it from
as you probably know,'ludic' refers to play. (which reminds me,i still haven't read the glass bead game-have you?)
a related interest of mine is 'play ethic' which is the name of a book by pat kane. i had to order it from amazon canada because it wasn't available in this country. i'm just glad that the credit card companies do the money conversions because i wouldn't know how to do it!
anyway,i think life should be fun, dammit! i was in a cranky mood this morning and not having much fun but then you asked this question and i researched it and learning is fun to me,so thanks for the boost!
Re: ludic revolution/play ethic
But it is interesting! :-)
