breathe out so i can breathe you in
i'm in a swoony mood. what the heck...that's supposed to be in august and december. but maybe one of the ADVANTAGES of two weeks of pms is that i get swoony too,and i love being swoony.i'm such a sap.
"breathe out so i can breathe you in"
-foo fighters,'everlong'
maybe i'm weird, but i always found that line terribly romantic...not to mention the song's great.
so while listening to foo fighters i also had to listen to my other favorite,'aurora' which is partly an inspiration for my name but that song can be interpreted in a number of ways...i feel i can relate to both people in the song, and it's also my bodhisattva song because of the
ending lines...
'wait til the last one's done...'
and 'turn and come back down'...
bodhisattva are enlightened beings who come back until all beings are in the light with them...ALL.
i want to be a bodhisattva, but probably not in this life. i'm having a hard time just surviving, and have so much to learn yet myself.but maybe i can come back later.
funny,i usually feel unambitious and yet being a bodhisattva is probably one of the hugest ambitions one could have!
"I wanted such a little thing from life,i wanted so much'
(from the musical 'pippin','think about the sun')
i'd like to think that being a basket case in this life is some kind of training for bodhisattvahood later.

i cut and pasted the lyrics to 'aurora' here on my other journal but livejournal rarely lets me do that. oh,well.if you're really curious its' easy to find the lyrics on the web.

BTW why would you want to be a Bodhisattva? I hear the hours are long, the pay is terrible, and every now and then you get crucified or burned at the stake.
