franco still dead; i'm still nauseated
(disclaimer: mostly boring stuff about my ailments and the weather. i'm getting ready for the nursing home way ahead of schedule!)
well,at least i'm not feeling suicidal over this (probably thanks to the wellbutrin) but i'm still nauseated and the last two days i've had very intense of nausea just before eating.i had a hunch i would feel better after eating,and i did,but i can't figure why that is. it seems very strange to me.
so,i'm rather worried about this constant nausea. i've been taking aciphex for a week now,and it should have kicked in by now.i've wondered if it's caused by the wellbutrin but i take one at night a couple of hours before bed and it doesn't seem to cause it any worse.
what's really annoying is that before i tried to switch to ranitidine,which is less strong than aciphex,i was actually doing well,so you would think switching back to aciphex i would be better.
i've been doing research in books at work and on the net and i don't seem to fit the profile for anything. i do wonder about my gall bladder,but usually you have a pain on the right side,and with me it's not so much pain (though i do have that occasionally) but just nausea continuing. it's kind of weird...it's like in waves,but more on than off,though maybe it just seems that way! what i mean is,i won't feel to bad for a little period of time and then i'll feel sick again soon.
also,gall bladder problems are usually from high fat diets,and mine has been low fat for years. occasionally i do eat a bit more,and i think i've had gall bladder attacks...i get a really bad pain in my chest and back that feels like my spine is going to snap in two.what usually helps that is a drop of ginger tincture,though that may also mean it's merely (ha) a REALLY bad gas pain.
anyway...
today i'm hoping to go to the library and see if they have any of the middle earth history books by tolkien.i can't think of any movies i want to rent right now,so i may just keep watching the fellowship of the ring (the nice thing about owning it is that you can create your own mini-series.
tomorrow i have my dental check-up and cleaning appointment and i hope i don't feel too nauseated...ugh.i also don't want to cancel because it's tough to get an appointment with the hygienist (i guess they are in short supply) and i have some questions for my dentist,since i've had this bad taste in my mouth since may and the doctor can't think of what it would be and said it might be something dental. i also need to ask him what to do if i get dry mouth from my drugs...it can wreak havoc on your teeth if you have no saliva!
it's a bit humid and warm today but i've got the window open (yeah!) because there is also a good strong fresh breeze...i think thunderstorms may be on their way (they say when you can see the undersides of the leaves,they are immanent!)
