at last,my own computer.yeehaa. bedazzled!

i finally bought a computer. i am pretty excited about it. for me,it's a whole new world. i tried out second life but haven't figured out much yet,like how to sit down and how to make my avatar the way i want it to look (like a colorfully dressed wisewoman!)

also tried out hulu but it's been crashing in the chrome browser. i don't want to go back and use explorer though...i feel safer with chrome.
so computers is my 'new thing' about ten years behind the crowd,but i gave up keeping up long

not that it's all that fascinating...i used to be a pretty good writer,or at least i thought,but i've gotten pretty rusty in recent years. not that that is a major catastrophe...heehee.

Firefox is pretty good for the things Google Chrome isn't good at, and vice versa. I use both browsers for different accounts and different features. (For example, I use Firefox for my main accounts because I like its Delicious extension better, because I do a lot of bookmarking.)

thanks for the tips. i did end up adding firefox for some things. good to know they are both good for different things...i find i like them both,but as you say,for different reasons! i'm having a lot of fun with my compy,and still intend to give it a name!
