my sims need to go to the garage?

oh noesss! did lj kill my sims so i'll play sims hospital? ha. my only sims2 disc is not working. i have tried dusting it off and i guess i will have to try cleaning it more thoroughly. i'll put that on my todo list. haha. i will probably buy a new one before i clean it! right now i am waiting for my doctor who series 5 dvds to arrive. i got them new for about half price through a dealer on amazon.

i was in bed most of the day. didn't get much done again,although that i did get out to the library and grocery and i did start laundry. now i must continue laundry! i picked up a james hillman book i ordered through interlibrary loan called 'kinds of power'. he just seems to really know what's going on. also got a book about time and time zones and a tape set to listen to when i can't sleep on detective fiction. i love the modern scholar series the library carries.
