i wash my hair and NOW my scalp is itching? did i suddenly become allergic to my shampoo?

My scalp/skin is often itchy after showering. I think the water dries it out, which *sounds* weird, but it *feels* true.

i was wondering too if i had gotten sensitive to chlorine...this winter has realllly slowed down my hygiene habits,if you get my drift. i also think i have less oil in my scalp,which has it's good and it's bad points! thanks for commenting.

That happens to me once in a while when I have not washed it for a day or two. It is weird. My doctor told me that lathering it up, then letting it sit for a while will help--but I was using a scalp moisturizing shampoo (nothing special, just Head and Shoulders). I also find that shampoo, rinse, repeat helps me, too.

But I have had the experience...
