i haven't been a regular tv watcher in years,other than the red sox during a few years when i could afford the larger cable package. but now i'm getting into a bit of a routine.

i do miss some shows simply because i've crawled into bed,and i haven't cleaned off my couch so i can watch tv while half sleeping. which is maybe just as well? i don't know.

anyway,i watched the first episode of pan am on sunday night and i quite liked that. i also often watch 60 minutes.

monday i watched the two hour premiere of terra nova and thought it was quite good. liked the dinosaurs and jason o'mara,not quite as fond of chunks of action scenes,but i see why they're included to catch a certain demographic. demographic...what an impersonal way of describing people!

i don't think i've attached myself to anything regular on tuesdays primetime,and today is wednesday so i might watch modern family. sorry to see little lily has turned into a horrible brat.

thursdays is big bang theory. i watched the first episode of person of interest and i love the tech stuff,but don't like the violence,so i will probably skip that one.

friday night is fringe. i find it a bit too complicated,but i watch it because i love walter and astrid. and gene. okay,i am intrigued by some of what's going on,but it is way too complicated for my laziness.

saturday is doctor who.

also,they now run an hour of two episodes of big bang theory every night,so i've been watching that. i love those characters,especially sheldon,my spirit animal? as they say? and amy.

there is some great stuff on pbs in the middle of the night when i can't sleep. nature and nova and history detectives and i'm looking forward to ken burns' series on prohibition. and sometimes i watch booktv on the weekends. i've watched anderson cooper's daytime show a few times. i watch some local news and occasionally the weather channel. i'm one of those amateur weather enthusiasts. i love high pressure systems!

doctor who i can only watch on the web,but at least i can do that.

and sometimes on saturday i watch baseball especially if the red sox are on. yeah,i guess i watch a lot of tv,but less than some others. tv has it's part in distracting me from my own insanity.
