stubborn optimism
i was reading an article in natural beauty and health magazine about absent healing which i thought was very interesting, and the author has a site on the web which includes an astrological column. i keep giving up on astrology but being the stubborn optimist underneath it all,i still once in a while hope to find one that makes sense of my world.
here is part of what she says for october 2002:
I think we have all felt the heavy planetary influence of Saturn opposite Pluto pushing us and pulling us over the past few years. These profound planetary influences have manifested in the world as scandals and tragedies, such as September 11, the Catholic Church and Enron, and also in our own lives. For the more spiritually minded, this has been a time of deep soul-searching and many of us may find that we are on a completely different track than we were a few years ago. The good news is that this planetary influence is at an end. Although the two planets draw near to each other, they do not make the exact opposition from Gemini to Sagittarius that they have done. It has been a particularly trying time for Geminis [NO KIDDING!-di] and Sagittarians so they can now take heart!

well,i hope she's right...i've been looking for that light at the end of the tunnel and these days it usually turns out to be a freight train!...i want to see the sun again!
