i miss bill. so many times when i listen to old r.e.m.,i miss bill. not only do i miss the drums,but i miss his deep gruff harmony vocals. oh,well,he is happily farming. bill is really a hobbit...he even has the hair.
i'm in a good mood,in spite of the fact that i've been headachey lately,tylenol doesn't seem to help and i called the doctor's office and they said there's nothing else i can take for pain since it's not advisable for me to take aspirin or isopropin because of my probable ulcer.

that reminds me...in december i usually enjoy the 'venus effect',by which i mean i get all enjoyably swoony due to some personal astrological effects...i've noticed it several different years...and this year,where is it? because it's lots of fun. one year it was a blast because a guy friend was still working where i work and we're both naturally flirty...and it didn't hurt that i had a long time crush on him! speaking of which,maybe one of these days we'll do lunch or something,since life has a little stability in it in general which it hasn't in a long time,and now i feel i can go out and do things once in a while.
anyway,i miss the venus effect but i can say i do have a liking for somebody,and maybe it's a different kind of venus effect,because it's pretty nice in it's own way and so far i haven't been reduced to acting like an idiot. you know,that's kind of nice.
it's kind of the difference between an alcoholic buzz which is fun but leaves you hungover,and a basic good diet which makes you healthy and happy to enjoy each day...i wanted to find a more eloquent analogy but it just ain't happening right now. oh,well.
