three things conspired to cheer me up today (well,technically yesterday,but it's still the same day to me because i haven't gone to bed yet.)
maribeth brought a little bag of chocolate covered peanut butter treats in to work just for me...because i told her how much i loved them last year. i thought that was so thoughtful and of course they were delicious.
my sister sara called me tonight after i emailed her when i got home from work around 8:30,to wish me a merry christmas since i won't be seeing them tomorrow...i'm staying off the roads because we're getting a nasty nor'easter. i also talked to my sister rachel but i didn't talk to mom because she can't talk...but i did see her on monday,because i knew i probably wouldnt see her on christmas.
u2. i watched my new dvd of u2's best of 1990-2000 (which i bought for myself today because i was feeling sorry for myself). u2 music cheers me up SO often. i loved seeing the video to stay(faraway so close) which was done by wim wenders as the u2 version of his angel movies. u2 are great as mentor angels in that and i adore the song anyway.
so,it's actually christmas now. well then,merry christmas!
