bitchin' about the weather
fucking new england winter!
we may be getting six more inches of snow tonight which means i'll have to get up at fuckin' eight o'clock for the second thursday in a row for the snowplow guy because of course everyone is a morning person but me,so eight is fine. and this week i can't even go to bed early because i'm working today (yeah...happy new year! with shit weather today i may have stayed home but i've got thirty boxes of magazines to unpack and put out on the newstand at work,and i do most of the work in that dept.,so no one else is going to do it.) and i'll get home around 12:30 a.m. if i'm lucky (which i probably won't be,because it'll be either sleet,freezing rain or snow driving home,so i'll have to drive slower and get home even later. sure,then i go to bed and have to get up at 8.yeah,great. and i generally need nine hours of sleep to feel human and not have a tired headache (for which i can't take anything effective since i have stomach problems)
so,happy happy happy.
i can see i'll be bitching about the weather and crappy nights of not-enough-sleep all winter. just love it.
oh,happy new year. time to dig out one of my favorite u2 songs because i must play it on 'new year's day'.
today's wake-up music: tommy and the placemats-'dont tell a soul' ('talent show' and the rest on shuffle play)
