today's wake-up and brushing and flossing music:

i adore this album.
the harmonies in 'harborcoat' are just earthily ethereal (yes,in my world it's possible)

'in the city by the river,there's a girl without a dream'

i moved.i now live by a measly
brook. but i got my dreams back.

yes,r.e.m. songs are all about ME.
one day in,oh,1983 or 4 i wrote a fan letter to the band and for some reason i wrote 'can't get there from here' on the top of the letter...it's kind of a yankeeism,yankee as in northeast usa,as opposed to yankee as in anyone from the usa,as the former is how we use it in this country...

well,it could be a coincidence or not,but on 'fables of the reconstruction/reconstruction of the fables' in '85,lo and behold,that lovely song 'can't get there from here'. who knows,maybe someone actually read my letter (possible,since i wrote it before they got really famous)

i dont even know who jim hall and ron carter are! i titled my entry 'alone together' from the slogan 'working alone together' which was on an r.e.m. t-shirt.
