the last train to glasgow
cleaning out my 'sent' box. saved this excerpt from an email i sent to patti on sept. 30th.

i guess i got over my crush on **** because i didn't think of him all vacation.
instead i developed a crush on billy boyd,the scotsman who plays pippin in lord of the rings,and that's not so good unless he's an open diarist or livejournalist who finds me and thinks i'm witty and pathetic and he must save me from my horrible life. hey,that would be good.i'd love to have a home base in glasgow. i'd be in heaven with those accents...i may even become mute myself (okay,well,not bloodly likely!)...or more likely pick up the accent. oh,what a virus to catch that would be. oh,pathetic me,my celebrity crushes are even more pathetic than my too-young guy crushes! that's what happens when i'm home on vacation with my mom for a week and don't have access to enough man flesh!
