i wonder what i did with my cd of 'human's lib'. dang.

what is it about music in the even-numbered decades? i like sixties and eighties music the best,so far.

dj says howard sang welsh songs on tv as a kid. cool.

by the way,does anyone know the word smooinaghey? i'm amazed i don't misspell it,but nope,that's right. any manx speakers out there?

Well how do you like the music of the 1940s and 1920s?

(A couple of my favourite tunes are from the 1290s (yes, 1290s), but now that you've got me thinking about it, I'm gonna have to look at odd-versus-even decades and see what patterns I can find.)

i really dont like fifties rock,though i like some of the pop stuff.the goofy stuff,like i have on the 'l.a. confidential' soundtrack. i don't even know what music was popular in the twenties or forties...i like big band jazz but don't know when that was. i guess it is generalizations,because i like stuff that i don't know when it originated. i like mountain music...bluegrass,etc...i loved the movie 'songcatcher'. of course i believe a lot of the appalachian music is directly descended from some of the celtic stuff i love. i don't like 'grand ole opry' country stuff and yet i think it was derived from the mountain music....anyway...
