ooooh....a blizzard!

well,i just walked five miles in a blizzard to get a pint of ben and jerry's half-baked frozen yogurt and the supermarket didn't have any! guess everyone stocked up in case they got snowed in. i wouldn't mind getting snowed in for another day and getting paid for a snow day and not having to go to work. that's only happened once or twice in the five years i've worked there though. once it was a really bad ice storm that made driving pretty much impossible.the other time was this january we were sent home an entire two and a half hours early and got paid for it! the company i work for is soooo generous.(not)

i think i'll check to make sure i have matches for my candle but i hope we dont' lose power. and i hope my neighbors don't get stranded somewhere while they've left their toilet running in the apartment above me. (yes,it's stuck again and they are oblivious or are not there...it's not a joke that water is going to become a serious issue in the future and there they are wasting gallons and gallons of it. and of course it's bad for my already lousy mental health. i'm too depressed at the moment to call the doctor to see if she can increase my medication or do SOMETHING.

anyway,so the supermarket at least had the chocolate fudge brownie frozen yogurt which i don't love as much as the half-baked,which has chocolate chip cookie dough in it..mmmmm....but it'll do.

this is supposed to be 'light snow' we're getting right now...we've already gotten quite a bit,so i'm not looking forward to the 'heavy' stuff. the roads are crap already and there were a few idiots terrifying me by tailgating when the roads are very slippery and stopping when you step on the brakes is not a guarantee. idiots, idiots, idiots. people also still going over the speed limit too...that's it,i'm staying in for the rest of my life.

it's not really a blizzard yet because the winds havent' picked up.

and that's all i'll bore you and myself with for now.

Oh it's definitely a freaking blizzard here. I like it, kind of, because I know that school's already been canceled for Tuesday. This whole thing took me by surprise...I didn't know until Sunday night that this was going to happen. When's spring, damn it? take care....joy
