i'm 35!
ha ha. feeling old today,the day after my birthday,but it's just psychological. on the inside,i still want boys to think i'm cute. well,i am cute,but i've got crow's feet and lots of silver hair! my hair ratio is fast approaching 50/50 dark brown and silver. well,it's really gray i suppose but silver sounds nicer.
i was thinking i might like to start lying about my age!
ah,well...
i'm excited to be going back to work. i guess that says something about my vacation,as well as my job! one's good,one isn't! i'm thinking i may not take a week off in september if my mother is still living here. it's rather stressful. i might use vacation days to take days off when she goes to my sister's.of course,i can't plan ahead because she won't go if she knows i'll be home.she doesn't like being alone,so she takes advantage of the fact that i'm here. in a way,i'm getting used to it,but it still is stressful. i suppose i might arrange with my sister to have my mother at her house for a couple of days next time i'm on vacation.that's another option,because it really is good to get away from work for a full week and just really wind down. it didn't really work this time,but i did have a couple of more relaxing days the last two.
if i think about it too much,i could feel really sorry for myself for having such an uncelebratory birthday yesterday...i could think it pathetic. but it was as good as it could be,it had some nice things about it and some thoughtful people remembered me. at least if i dont' have quantity of friends and loved ones,i have quality.
