well,i'm psyched for election day. i'm going to get up early so i can go vote before going to work.
the only person i want to vote for is granny d as state senator from new hampshire.
however,i do still want to cast my vote for president. i don't like kerry or bush for president, and i'm tired of voting AGAINST people, which i've always done. so this year i'm not voting for a person,i'm voting FOR change.
i've decided whom i'm voting for for governor, but i'm not sure on congressional reps yet. will probably just vote for democrats for some kind of balance.
these days i don't like either the republican or democrat party lines, though i used to pretty much believe in the democratic views.
now i can only describe my views as eclectic, and something i've thought about discerningly. also, subject to change.
this is a wonderful, beautiful country where we for the most part get to cast our votes (i say for the most part, because i don't really know the details of what the hell happened in 2000.)
AND we have the right to choose not to vote as well.
i choose not to think that either person who may be elected will be a bad thing, though i do have my preference. i don't think i'm going to do any harm by being optimistic about life in general.
i choose to respect your opinion, whatever it may be,in the view that the greatest freedom is in what we think and believe.
so,i'm taking good vibes with me to the polls tomorrow. just because i want to.
