Jul. 15th, 2005 01:56 pmand so this is christmas harry potter day.
while i haven't read any of the books,i am excited because being excited over other people's joy is going to let me get through the retail craziness in decent shape,i expect. my first choice would be to be miles away from the insanity, but since that hasn't worked out,my next option was to find a way to be as happy as possible about it! i can relate in a way, anyhow, because i do love to read!
i am working the late shift, which means i go into work at 6 (i have to leave home at 5) and i'll be out at 2 a.m. the book can't be sold until the 16th so,like many bookstores across the nation,we will be selling the book at midnight.
anyhow,i got to sleep late this morning, which was cool. and if i have a notion,i can watch the cubs/pirates game and oprah before going to work, though i'm more likely to just fool around on lj for most of the afternoon. and perhaps i will clean out my email inbox, since it's practically full.
