Dec. 5th, 2007 11:21 amthis is a perspective i'm trying to adopt:
there are no problems, only situations--to be dealt with now, or to be left alone and accepted as part of the 'isness' of the present moment until they change or CAN be dealt with.
-eckhart tolle,in the power of now
i've been re-reading this book--at least i think so,as honestly i'm not entirely sure i didn't read just parts of it before--lately because i need to make peace with my life as it is. it may never get better,or it might get worse,or sure,it might get better but these days i feel like the only power i have is how i react to things, and sometimes i don't feel so powerful in that regard either. that's the way it is for me right now.
